Blocks
An email is a list of blocks: header (your logo), heading, text, button, hero, image, columns, receipt, code box, quote, social links, footer and more. Add, move and delete them in the left panel. Every block is built to work in Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail, and on phones.
Subject and preheader
The subject is the email's title in the inbox. The preheader is the grey line many inboxes show next to it: use it to add something the subject doesn't say. Both can use variables.
Changing an email with AI
In the AI tab, describe what to change ("make it shorter and friendlier", "add a line about the 14-day trial") or pick a quick action. AI keeps your brand, variables and photos. Each request counts as one AI generation.
Preview
The preview is the real email HTML. Switch between desktop, mobile and dark mode to see how it looks in different inboxes. Variables show their sample values.
Health check
The Checks tab tests the email before it ships. Errors should be fixed. Suggestions are worth a look.
- Gmail clips emails over 102 KB and hides the rest.
- Subject and preheader length, and wording that spam filters dislike.
- Images without alt text, broken links and buttons without an address.
- Text that's hard to read against its background.
- A missing company address or footer.
Have an email made somewhere else? Paste its HTML into the free email health check. It runs the same kind of checks in your browser, plus a few for hand-written HTML, such as layouts Outlook ignores.
Versions
Use Save version before bigger changes. The Versions tab lists saved versions, and you can restore any of them.
Test emails
Send test sends the email to an address you choose, through your own connected provider, with the sample values filled in. You can send 10 a day on the Free plan and 30 a day on paid plans.
