Resend, Postmark, SendGrid and Brevo

Connect Resend, Postmark, SendGrid or Brevo, push templates and send them from your code.

Connecting a provider

  1. 1Go to Providers and pick Resend, Postmark, SendGrid or Brevo.
  2. 2Paste an API key from your provider's dashboard. For Postmark, use a Server API token.
  3. 3Optionally add the sender email for test emails.

Your key is encrypted and stored in a vault. It's never shown again, not even to you, and only our server uses it to push your templates.

Pushing a template

In the editor, choose Push to provider. The email becomes a template in your provider's account, with its variables converted to that provider's format.

Push again after a change and the same template is updated: no duplicates to clean up. The Launch Pack covers 10 different templates (pushing one again doesn't count twice), Pro is unlimited.

Keeping templates in sync

When you edit a pushed email or change the brand kit, the template shows as out of sync on the Templates page. Re-push all updates every one of them in one go.

Sending it from your app

After a push, the dialog shows ready-to-copy code for Node.js, Next.js, Python and Supabase Edge Functions, with your template ID and variable names filled in. Pass your real values in place of the samples.

Resend reserves a few variable names, such as EMAIL. We rename those (EMAIL becomes EMAIL_VALUE), and the code we give you uses the same names.

Brevo

Brevo works like the others, with three things to know:

  • A sender email is required. Brevo puts it on every template, so enter a verified sender from your Brevo account when you connect.
  • Turn off IP blocking for API keys. Brevo can block API calls from addresses it hasn't seen before, and ours change. In Brevo, open Settings → Security → Authorized IPs and deactivate blocking for API keys. If a push is blocked, TemplatePort tells you.
  • Variables come from params. A template uses {{ params.user_name }}; send the values in the params object, as the send code shows. Brevo escapes them for you.

Lovable, Claude Code and Cursor

The bottom of the Providers page connects TemplatePort to AI app builders. Create an API key there and add TemplatePort as an MCP server in Lovable, Claude Code, Cursor or another app that supports MCP. Its agent can then fetch your emails from chat. The Lovable guide has the steps.

Push history

Push history lists every push and test email, with errors if something went wrong.
