Getting started

From sign-up to your first email in your provider, in about ten minutes.

How TemplatePort works

You set up your brand once. Every email you create uses it: logo, colors, font, tone, footer and links. You design or generate emails, check them, and then send them to where your app actually sends email from.

  • Resend, Postmark, SendGrid or Brevo: push templates straight into your account.
  • Supabase Auth: copy the sign-up, reset password and other auth emails into Supabase.
  • Lovable apps: copy one prompt that puts the designs into your Lovable project, or connect TemplatePort to Lovable and ask for your emails in its chat.
  • Gmail or Google Workspace: paste it into Gmail as a template, or send it from your app through Workspace.
  • Your own code: export HTML, plain text or React Email.

Your first ten minutes

  1. 1Sign up and enter your website. We scan it for your logo, colors, font, social links and your terms and privacy pages.
  2. 2Review the brand kit we found. Everything is editable later under Brand kit.
  3. 3Create emails: generate the starter pack (six essential emails), pick designs from the Gallery, or describe a custom email.
  4. 4Open an email to edit it. Check the preview on desktop and mobile, and fix anything the Checks tab flags.
  5. 5Send yourself a test to see it in a real inbox.
  6. 6Push or export it to where your app sends email from.

Generating, editing, previewing and test emails are free. Pushing and exporting need the Launch Pack or Pro.

Variables

Parts of an email that change per person, like a name or a link, are written as variables: {{user_name}}, {{reset_url}}. Write them in this neutral form everywhere. When you push or export, we convert them into the format of each provider, for example {{{USER_NAME}}} for Resend.

Every variable has a sample value, used in the preview and in test emails. Set them in the editor's Variables tab.
